Mr. Stefan Zingel

Dipl.-Inform.(FH) Stefan Zingel is the Head of Research and Development at LMR. He studied computer science in media at the University of Applied Sciences Gelsenkirchen with a focus on VR and media law.
2003 Finished studies with a thesis on GPU programming (www.solidshadertool.de).
2003 Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Gelsenkirchen.
2003-2004 Freelance Software Developer for Web Applications and Content Management Systems.
Since 2004, scientific researcher at the Laboratory for Mixed Realities (LMR).
Since 2005, Head of Research and Development.
Since 2005, Project manager on behalf of LMR for IST FP6 project “iClass”.
His current research and development interests and areas of expertise are:
eLearning, Web 2.0 paradigms, usability, edutainment & computer games, 3D graphics/VR, Nintendo DS & Wii, mobile applications and games, instant messaging, mobile TV and interactive television.
