Dr. Owen Conlan

Dr. Owen Conlan is a Research Lecturer with the Knowledge and Data Engineering Group (KDEG) in the School of Computer Science and Statistics of Trinity College, Dublin.  As a senior member of the group he oversees many research activities related to eLearning and personalisation. Owen has contributed to fifty publications and his primary research interests lie in investigating the practical application of visualization, adaptation and personalisation approaches to a variety of real world situations to facilitate increases in cognition and understanding. His research interests also include strategies for adaptation, semantically meaningful visualisations of adaptive information and the evaluation of cognitive and meta-cognitive gain in personalised eLearning systems.
