Richard Galvin B.A., MA., M.Ed., L.L.B

Richard is currently Director of the European School, Brussels II which has a student population of 3000 student with a teaching staff of 325 teachers. He is of Irish Nationality and is a former teacher of Geography, History and ICT in both the Irish and European Schools education systems. Richard is a specialist in evaluating hardware and software applications of ICT in teaching and learning. He has acted as an advisor in this area to various government agencies, companies and schools. He has spoken at various international ‘ICT in Education’ conferences and he is a steering committee member of the EC sixth framework ‘iClass’ Project. He was the founder of the European Schools Distance Learning Centre at Mol and was formerly a part-time lecturer in Education at University College Cork, Ireland.
