The iClass Pedagogical Model

As a starting point for iClass pedagogical model, self-regulated learning is considered to be developmental process where individual's identity as a lifelong learner is being established who not only acquires skills, but also has the motivational drive to persist in learning and to develop whatever skills needed for supporting the her identity as a learner.

The model is built mainly by Ben Gurion University of the Negev - The Center for Futurism in Education, on three main concepts: Self-Regulation, Personalisation and Intrinsic Motivation.

A standard SRL model is chosen (Zimmerman's) but additional conditions are forseen that support development of intrinsic motivation and sustainability.
